In 2009, adventurer & TV presenter Liam Bates (Swiss) embarked on the journey of a lifetime with good friend, Ken Ying (Chinese). The pair travelled for 2 months on motorcycles from the heart of Tibet across the plains of Mongolia and finally to Shanghai. Origins Technology spent its first year in Jess & Liam’s living room, trying to find solutions to the problem of air pollution. The team worked closely with partners in Switzerland and around the world to develop and create the OxyBox purifier and Laser Egg air quality monitor. Origins Technology has renamed themselves as Kaiterra now.
